No major aspects. The week gathers itself after eclipse season. After a month like the one just past, an empty day earns its place; take the rest while the sky offers it. A restful day, and the sky has asked a lot lately.

Monday, August 31: Jupiter trine Saturn

The week’s high point, and a constructive one. Jupiter, the planet of growth, makes an easy contact with Saturn, the planet of structure, and the two spend the day cooperating instead of pulling against each other. It is the signature of sustainable growth: a vision with a plan under it, a dream with bones. Both sit in water signs, so the building has feeling in it, not only ambition. After eclipse season’s tearing-down, this is the day for putting something back together, carefully and to last. Friday, September 4: Last Quarter Moon in Taurus

A pruning moon in steady Taurus. The Last Quarter clears what has run its course, and in Taurus the focus is the material and the habitual: a possession, a comfort, a routine that no longer earns its keep.
